Don’t I remember when my sister and I were this age… And I wish I had a picture of us like this one because these days it would be worth the world to me.  And that is exactly why I love taking pictures.  Because a moment that lasts 1/160th of a second becomes a treasure for life.  Now that’s profound…  (hee hee!)

Ah yes it’s that time of year again when we all want to have the perfect Christmas card.  We want to send something special, that, when people open it up they will look at our picture and say, “Awwww.”   Well, if your kids are anything like mine, this is a time of year they do not look forward too.  So, in light of all our efforts to take a good Christmas card picture I am showing you an oldie but a goodie from my family card several years ago.  This was 1 of about 30 tries that did not come out.  My intentions were good but Jake just would not sit still nor look at the camera.   I am still in the process of thinking of something great for our card this year, but it requires snow, and oddly enough, we haven’t had much of the white stuff yet.  Cheers!
